Title: Audi S3 17" Rims

Been offered some rims off a 99 plate s3, there 17" obviously 5 stud, will they fit onto my p plate mk3 without any issues?

Yes should be fine but you need 205/40/17 tyres, if yours is lowered then they may catch the arches.

they got 225 45 17 rubbers on them, car isnt lowered yet but will be when cash is available, only real reason i want them is the fact my standard rims need 4 new tyres and it works out cheaper buying the audi wheels! will they scrub with those size tyres then?

Yes they will catch I think with those on, very tight for clearance with 205/40/17.

doh! ill keep looking then, if anyone has any cheap rims with good tyres on then let me know, before the boyz at kwik fit bend me over!! cheers

250 ish, but there aint much kicking about for that sort of money! 4 new tyres on the standard rims will cost me 200...!

Personally i think the s3 rims look pretty cool on a mk3, why not buy them then flog the tyres?? or see if anyone wants to swap tyres??
