Title: 'o' ring on blue temp sender

i got a new o ring today, but i can't get the sender to sit low enough to put the clip on now  :cry: should i have to push on it real hard? :undecided: i'm worried about breaking something else

yes, you should push it hard but not brutally.

fit the o'ring to the sensor first to make sure its fully seated, then firm pressure should be enough to get the sensor in.

put it in 2 stages:
first lay the sensor into the hole with the o ring on it.
second, apply a slight pressure to feel the resistance of the o ring until it's in place.
(now these words are in the right thread :grin:).

Sorry to be a dumb nut but where abouts is the Blue temperature sender? Is it anywhere under the dizzy?

no its blue and above the dizzy in the centre of the engine bay, well on a 8v anyway  :smiley:
