-
I know, sorry about that!
Sorted now i hope!
-
Nice bike
-
Why thank you!

-
doh!!
should have got the map - can use that in ALL weathers!
-
can use this in all weathers. It is part of the master plan, to do a bit more cycling over the winter, with the running I already do, and then add some swimming, and have a decent pop at an ironman in 2010. I have a decent road bike, so needed some fun over the winter.
The bike is brand new, and I got it for just over 1/2 of what it should be, waved the wonga under his nose, and he took it.
-
Coincidence, I bought this today, got a 50%!!!! discount from work on the ride2work scheme
Scott Scale 50

-
nice bike mister! i looked at the scotts, but then saw this on promotion.
I asked about the Ride to work scheme, but the armed forces dont do it as yet. Bummer!
But I went to the shop, and the bike fitted perfectly, without any adjustments at all, weird! i think someone had measured my inside leg whilst sleeping!
But it was too good a deal to miss.
-
No Way!!!! Ive been getting into the Mountain biking recently....
I've had the same bike since i was 14 so its worth buying quality....
(I have an old Raleigh M-Trax 200)
The frame is absolutely amazing and the ride is pretty good too, just a shame ive slipped a disc in my back...
I did bedgebury forest in Kent/New Forest last weekend... May well do bedgebury or Swinley this weekend!
-
I did New Forest last year, definately going back next year. Although I did have a major off and took some serious skin off my left arm and leg.
-
Out on the Quantocks tomorrow. Best they have it ready early doors.
really looking forward to it.

All you need now stoke is a overpriced VW Bike Rack to fit the GTi!!. That means you wont have any change left whatsoever if you did have
any!!.
-
It will be in the boot, wrapped in one of the Duvet covers the Ex missus left behind. She did have a use.

Philllll, Nice Bloke,
All I really need is a Sky + box to replace the one she took when she left, mind you she did pay for it, but that is not the point!
-
Lovely bike. I just got one of these:

Had a Trek 4000 series but wrote it off... Bent the frame by accident  :lipsrsealed:
-
Nice bike Micsta. Nice to see you back by the way.
Can't wait until tomorrow now.
-
Thanks
I must admit that I absolutely love mountain biking. The only thing close to it enjoyment wise is being chased by a mini Cooper in a 4 storey parking lot and beating him. Everyday....
*I didnt just admit to doing that*
-
Looks cool! Ive got an old specialized bike in the garage somewhere too - barely done any miles!

marky, dude I go riding with all the time has that cannondale...
quantocks are good, used to go up there when my gran was around as she lived near williton?
p.s new forest - I start in lymington and all i can find is a cr@ppy gravel track to some other town and back again. Is there any decent single track?
Swinley is definitely the place to go, get in the visitor centre and ask for directions to the labyrinth..
Also! MBUK this month has the top autumn bike rides (which are good even when its wet apparently) and a free pair of Trek riding socks!

the above is my road bike, but the 2005 model, with the carbom back end, and I have added quite a bit of dura-ace as bits broke.
Lovely bike.
We must all get together, and have a laugh. New forest is not too far from me, lets do it, and talk Golfs and get out on the bikes.

How come a thread on push bikes can get to 3 pages in the MKV section........oh I know Mr Mcavity is joining in eh
Well, do I lock it or move it?
you decide!
-
I think there is quite MK5 Click, and thought it fun, and pertinent. Hurds my old nucka, move it, would probably get more coverage.
Ps saw this and iot has made me laugh all evening.
