Title: coolant leak

hello
i got a coolant leak somewhere from the front flange, only when the engine is off apparently.
replaced the seal for the bottom sensor and it's still leaking.
could it be the flange itself that's cracked?

could be, they're known for it. cheap from VAG!

as i'm using only the temp sensor, can i go for a flange from fuel injected models?
i understood they have only 2 sensors.

the coolant connections on the inj models are different as well, extra one for the oil cooler!
