Do you really want a 5door or are you just settling for whats available?

i no 5drs dont look as nice as 3drs but they are slightly cheaper, suppose ill have to have a little think about it.
Gettin my MK3 Gti 16v MOt'd 2morro so hopefully no problems there (touch wood) and ill take it from there really. Sold my Mk2 on the weekend hence y im lookin for sumthin else.
I dont really no to much about the VR6's anythin i should check out? or worry about?

£1000 to £1200 tops, just check the cam chain is not rattling.

I would pay £900-1200 depending on condition (maybe more if its 100%)..... with fuel prices the way they are at the mo and the thirst of the vr6!!
I am going to have a look on autotrader/ebay etc and post a price guide on here showing current prices and whats avalible.... My local autotrader has several M plate vr's between £650-2000!! and remembering when I got my last golf, there is a big difference in quality!!
