Title: ?????Sunoof PUDDLE?????
Post by: MK1_BOY on 14 May 2004, 18:14
The lining on my sunroof has always sagged but today I had a sit in my stationary car, as ya do  :) and  played about with, it started to gush out water, there was loads in there...  It is at a tilt, front end on alloys, could this be the reason or is it something more sinister??  If so has anyone else had that problem?? ???

Are you saying the car is at a tilt?  If so, it shouldn't affect the sunroof anyway.  Sounds like the main seals gone around the top skin.  The tilts allowing the water to trickle inside the lining instead of down the drainage holes.  Open the roof and check the drainage holes in the corner at the front of the roof near the windscreen for rust and blockages.
