Cheers Candy, but that one has number plate holes in it by the looks of the pic.

Where are you going to be putting the plate ?

I'm thinking...
something like this...
My poor attempt... lol

3/4 plate (the image is correctly scaled, so that's how big a 3/4 plate would be)
-
I too have thought of this numerous times, but discarded it for two reasons:
Firstly, if you attach it to the holes in the lower front grille, then the shape of the body angles the plate, and it looks a bit weird. Where would you be looking to attach it to Coco?
Secondly, when looking at it, I cant help but picturing a rabbit with its front teeth out!!
ETTO though
A guy at a local meet I go to has put a 3/4 plate right in the centre of that lower front grille - as well as blocking air to the radiator, it looks fecking bad!
I just dont know of a decent front numberplate solution really, apart from JoesGTI but that is kinda illegal :S
Although give me time, I may post up tomorrow something that might be worth considering...........

Yeah, like I say, it's just ideas currently, although I do like the idea of the smooth nose.
What about a square plate, ala Evo 6, covering one of the black grills? (but not covering the fog light etc)

Definitely - the whole smooth nose concept makes the front of the car look great! Sorry to pounce on your ideas - hope it didnt come out like that.
Yeah would love to see a pic of an evo6 type grille in the location that you've said - but my photoshop skills let me down unfortunately! :embarassed:
-
yeh its really hard to do and remain legal and also not make look a bit naff, be interested to see what people come up with

My latest 5min play around...

Doesn't do it for me
I always thought that the EVO's and Alfa's looked lop sided with their side mounted plates anyway.
Stick with the normal one
-
Bad idea - forget it and stick with stock UK location or move to Japan

3/4 sized plate. Looks more in proportion.

Much, much better imo, Coco! The first place you had it on the splitter really made me wince!!

I've thought about buying a US front and rear and having my number plate narrow/tall
V6
FFS
Instead of
V6 FFS
But I reckon it's too much hassle...
