or buy a 5 door... then you can have all the luxuries of rear opening windows but without the leaks...

First time i've had a proper look at these on a car was at e38 this year, they looked sh!te! I don't know if it was that they had been fitted badly or that is just the quality of them....

Seriously, what is your issue with e38 and this so called 'scene tax'? As far as i'm aware you wont want these windows, they are rare, they do go for good money, because of this rarity and surely 'scene tax' is just a wanky way of saying 'market value'?
What parts have you wanted to buy that you feel have been subjected to the horrors of inflated price?

I sold my last set of Happich for £250. I could have put them on ebay and got alot more, as they were boxed, with instructions and 100% complete but was being lazy. So does that mean my asking price of £250 was me asking for more than they were worth? or was it me asking for exactly what they were worth?

and ben, yeah fitted badly they look wank. fitted well they can look great. having owned and used (obviously) these they are really nice in the summer, but nothing amazing.

taking ebay as a market price this means you sold them for less than what they were worth, but obviously they are worth more or less to different people.

to the majority, wanky pop out rear windows that make next to no difference to air coming into the car aren't worth £250. find two people who both want them and stick it on ebay however, then you're laughing.
