Title: what tyres?

been offered some 17" TT wheels but they have 225 45 17 tyres on will they be to big? i think i read somewhere that i need 205 45 17 but cant find it now?

my car is pretty low so will i have trouble with those tyres?

205/40 17 would be best size.....common too as all the chav boy corsa's run them!! :wink:

as above, gotta be 205/40....not too expensive as they are a common size... for above reasons

now the question is do i buy 17"s or find some nice 15'' deep dish alloys  :undecided:

205/40/17 is the correct size, you might need to work the arches as well, mine still catch even after a lot of grinding.

I managed to get hold of 195/40/17 tyres to go on my 16v, i am worried that they will rub now :sad:

mine rub the slightest bit but it has 20mm spacers and is 75mm down!! i wouldnt worry unless you have a really odd offset on the wheels?
