Title: KR Exhaust Cam into 8V?

Someone told me that the KR Exhaust cam goes into the 8V
Has anyone done this? Got a pair of KR cams int golf box will do it if worth while :tongue:

think about this a bit mate...

16v means that 2 of the valves open on an exhuast cycle and 2 open on inlet cycle....

if you want your exhaust and inlet vales to be open at about the same time by all means go for it

if this bloke works for vw he is either a salesman, apprentice or a yards person... unless he was the bloke who sold you the cams which means hes dishonest..

he may have meant the gti 8v cam swap from gti to driver... or you may have heard him worng.

as far as alegros are concerned as long as it was sh!t brown and an estate ill shake you hand

Nah defo said KR But he is a Polo man and senior parts chap?.
The Leggy was Metalic light Blue 1.3HLS with twin headlights!
When i bought it it was 20 years old with 20k on the clock absolutely mint, i put some Austin Rover Alloys on it and let the suspension down for a laugh.
Three gearboxes two head gaskets 4 complete drive shafts later i sold it (10months) People pointing and laughing and first name terms with the local AA guy eventualy took there toll :laugh:
