:cry:Grim, that's all I can say about the condition of my '90 16v injection pipes.. So I'm looking to buy new ones, with new injectors to boot..
I'm after a rough price of how much these cost from my local VW garage, or elsewhere if anyone has bought any?
I'd appreciate any info guys if you can help?

try gsf for the injectors you are looking at around £30 each new. maybe get them cleaned. Its worth getting new o rings for the injectors which are about 60p from gsf. Try ebay or a breakers for the pipes, the braided ones are better.

Word on the street is get some brass injectors for mercs, cheaper and don't corrode as badly

Nice one Mew, are the Merc injectors off a specific model of car?
Someone mentioned they are on e-Bay too? Def worth a look tho'
Thanks for that guys..

Goodridge hoses will provide you with a complete set of replacement fuel distribution hoses for around £70, but you will need to furnish them with the specs for the unions and the threads for the hose ends. Be careful - there are at least two different specs for the hose ends and the unions and these are the expensive bits.
Your new hoses also won't have the steel sections - they will be 100% flexible pipes. You can use Spirawrap to stop the hoses chaffing stuff in the engine bay - it will act like a file on softer items around it.

I bought ones off ebay similar to these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-MK1-GOLF-SCIROCCO-GTI-16v-K-JET-RECON-FUEL-INJECTORS_W0QQitemZ370086401539QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item370086401539&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Mine were listed as Merc brass injectors. They are very good.
