Title: Changing Dsg gearknob?
Post by: Mark_eire on 18 September 2008, 20:09
Just wondering is it possible to change the Dsg gearknob for a new one?
The previous owner of my Gti was obviously a bit of a del'boy with his jewellery and has scratched all the top of the aluminium part of the knob and it's doin my head in!!
Is it possible to get a new factory one and swap over or is it more difficult than this?

Anyone know of any good eBay sellers that sell genuine ED30 gear knobs? Just had a look but couldn't really see anything. I can imagine that a dealer would charge around £80-100 for one!?!

Vagparts carry them for £130, or just get a dealer to order one
