Hi guys,
i have a r reg vr6, the heated seats on it work fine and warm up when on max number 5
the thing is that i sat in my mates passat which has heated seats, i turned the dials up to max 5 for the heat and my ass was very very hot, and it was nice lol
my question is why arnt my seats as hot as my mates, could it be that fact that his is a modern newer car its a 54 plate
is there anything that could be done to make mine hotter coz his were very hot compared to mine
thanks

i dont know anything about heated seats before i start.
But i presume its the same principle as a toaster..... over time it wears out, dont get as hot as easy.
You COULD sell the seats on ebay, and then buy some more of the same, that might work better IF yours are worn out, which they might not be.
As said, i know nothing about how they work, but i reckon they could just be used, and the elements or whatever they use are worn.
Thats my penny :S

Loads on ebay!

do you think the dealers could sort it out or would that be too expensive
-
 Everything the dealers sort out is expensive when you're talking about £60ish per hour.

Hi there guys,
I've just bought a set of these and want to fit them to my golf this afternoon....I'm struggling though on where the connections plug into the fuse box, could someone tell me which colour wire goes where please??? also to fit the control into the dash do I have to remove the speedo cluster to feed the wires down or would it be easier if I do? Any general fitting tips would also be appreciated!
Thanks.
