hi all,
I'm going to be in wokingham next week and was wondering if there were any GTI/Edition 30 owners from the forum around there. Would be nice to hook up. :smiley:

Im from southampton, just at the bottom of the m3, and know wokingham like the back of my hand working many times in that area.What day are we thinking?

Ah so the Rolling Road in Oct is very simple for you also!
Any time is fine for me, which makes life easier for anyone else that wants to come. I'll just go along with whatever is organised. See what scoobs7 has to say when he sees the replies to his topic.

Ok, now for the disappointing part...lol...I'm not driving down. I've got to travel on the sodding train as it's an official trip for a week. I'm on a VoIP course from 9am - 5pm. So, i guess i'll be more than ready for a drink by the time i've finished. :cool:
All that said, it'll be cool to meet up with fellow site members and SEE some cool cars. I'll be stopping at the Cantly house hotel. Looks pretty good! :smiley:

That's a nice hotel, I stayed there alot when I worked for a company based in Wokingham , if you can try to blag one of the lux rooms directly above the reception, however probably just a well your not taking the GTI as I know of two people who had there car's broken into :angry:

Will see if i can blag the Lux rooms, when i'm there..

I live near Silverstone but commute to Osterley or Knightsbridge most days, so might be able to pop in for a beer on the way home as it's only a couple of junctions down the M4.

Brilliant. Either sounds good to me. I've never been to Wokingham before and wouldn't know where to go. But if all got together at cantly house hotel and then take it from there...
