I know its an ICE topic but really wanted opinions of a Mk5 owner.

Looks pretty  :cool: for the price.

Never tried JVC headunits myself so can't comment of the quaility or spec.

I had a single DIN JVC HU in my last car and sound quality was good but not as good as the (faulty) Sony HU it replaced.  Left me wishing I had got another Sony.  That said I wouldn't hesitate to get that HU - if your replacing the OEM HU its only going to be a huge improvement.

  try the version up from that jvc 810, removeable facia and if you so a search on tinterweb will only be about 40 pounds extra or ebay.us where you can get it for 250 plus postage, just rember to ask seller to mark as a gift for under $40 to avoid uk tax.

i'm looking at getting one of these myself.

try stick to alpine, always loved alpine i.c.e and will always use them  :smiley:
