According to the VW site. Pirelli would appear to still be available though!
-
Interesting, I wonder why the Pirelli is still available.
How many Pirelli's do you think will have/to be sold in the UK? I can't imagine its as many as the ED30?
-
Why would they make 2 models of the same thing??. one more powerful then the other. I can understand their decision if thats the case.
-
I would imagine production will be based on time rather than numbers
-
So that makes the Standard GTi no more, must be known as GTi 200
-
Well they're winding down all golf production and gear up for the MKVI launch so I would have thought all Golf factory orders will stop shortly and only stock cars be available.

I cant remember were but i read last week that the Pirelli ended production in august. :undecided:
-
Thats why we need our Ed30 plates sooner rather than later before they deny all knowledge of the mk5 in favour of pushing the mk6

yeah but they cant sell them so they may hang around for a bit . Def not as popular as the ED30 (good or bad depending how you see it!)

Is E30 popular?
I see large numbers of them for sale, but on the streets see mostly usual GTIs.
Maybe when the prices fall they will be sold, but that just makes them cost-efficient cars, not necessarily popular.

where does it say that??
its known as the GTI, not ed30, parelli or gti 200, just plain and simple GTI
-
Is there any GTi-RS 500 CSL in the making, anyone knows?
-
To be fair I think the Edition 30 is more popular than the standard GTi where I live. I've noticed a few people have swapped their 3-series/A4s for them. Guy round the corner has just got a lovely black 58 plate Edition 30. I am mucho jealous!
