Don't worry I havn't done it, its just a photoshop experiment to see what it looks like.
I see the badgeless grills but they never smooth the gap in the bonnet. What do you think?

You can come round mine and give the RS a wash and polish!
Actually, has anybody ever done any two tone interiors? I mean tasteful ones, like on Audis which had alcantara seats, and co-ordinated door cards? :undecided:

I'll obviously have to take it to a good jet wash first. I'm quite fussy so may be gone a looong time.
If you send me pics of the interior and some of the material/colours you are thinking of, I'll see if I can do a mock up for you.

Just the standard GTI interior as the "blank canvass", but for the seats, a contrasting colour in the centre bits, leaving the bolsters anthracite, and the contrast also on the door cards, possibly where the leather already is. As for colours, I'm shyte at all that arty stuff, so I'll leave that for the experts to decide!

Badgeless grill sucks a big joint (like on the pic of TT).
It is VW GTI. Why make it black and invisible? Why hide it? Be proud of it instead!
-
Seeing your very good on photoshop, fancy putting a Vauxhall badge or Blue ford logo and put it in their forum for a giggle!. That will give
the vxr peeps a proper car to chat about!

Haha, see what I can do

Fitness of the blonde depends on how big her norks are.
As for the badgeless grille - even I've thought about debadging the mkv and then I thought "what the hell am I thinking?!?!" and moved on to more interesting things to think about. The grille just screams for something to be there, even if it isn't a VW badge.
-
A Nay from me too. Nice work on the photoshop'g skills.
-
I vote yay. The badgeless look works well for most VW cars.
-
I vote yay too.
The biggest issue as you say is the semi circular indent on the bonnet.
But if you have some accident damage for example then it'd be worth doing.
Some horizontal slats design would widen the car visually very nicely, maybe even just 1 slat?
Never been a big fan of the VW badge (ducks for cover) esp the larger version on later cars.
-
yay..
looks tidy! be different. :)
-
I like it!
Debadging without filling in that gap is a complete disaster
but if its filled in it looks quite good
Get it done!

I think it needs a bad boy bonnet as well.
