Guys, I am wanting to out a 20vt in my mk3. However my old man has been stressing me to just get a 1.8t mk4 or Seat etc.
Ive had a look on Parkers and a good mk3 Ibiza Cupra 153hp 20vt holds a book price of £2300 !
Are these cars worth it? lower insurance group to my 16v too!
I personally think they look great with a good set of rims, not sure about the yellow ones tho
-
i like them ALOT...and as you say, not a fan of yellow but they are a great car, its very tempting
-
Yes. I love them personally :)
Pretty much the same as a mk4 1.8t aren't they? But with a different shell?

Kells, It would cost at least 2k for a 20vt conversion would'nt it
Same engine as mk4 i guess Jamie

yes it would cost atleast that matey, its expensive to do and i dont think for one minute you would ever make the money back if and when the time to sell comes..

That cant be right mate, I think the 20vt started at Y reg and ended around 02/52 but theyre definately not advertised that low even with over 100,000 upwards on Autotrader, must be wrong
Ive been in one before but that was the rarer Ibiza Cupra R, one of only 100 or so I thought?? That was QUICK!
So good car, but definately not that cheap as £2300!
