Finally got my wheels after 7 week wait . Also bought some black mirror covers from vw to go with the wheels.
What do you think?

Nice touch with the mirror covers
Edit: you know what you need now ... front black vw badge!
-
looks good mate, I am in the market for a set of TD's too.I take it the covers are just from a mk5 black golf, a good idea though.
-
Yes just mk5 black mirror covers. Think i need some black indicators now
-
Those alloys are lush, even the chav in the Reno can't take is eyes off them!
-
Looks  man!!
-
Those are the same as Vtecabusers arent they???
Nice style of alloy but dont think Black wheels on the red car do much for me. Didnt Like mine when i saw it with Black Monza II's and opted
for the pescara's instead.
Nice touch with the black Mirrors, does make it look like it has more of a presence.
-
Thanks for the nice comments guys. Im really happy with them, they are a few kg's lighter than the pescaras too which is a bonus .
Yes phil they are the same as bens, i had these in my mind before i even got the car as i had the same wheels on my cooper s

Hi Luca,
Those wheels look stunning, gutted that the forum went down as I was going to order mine at the same time as you, now I cant decided whether to go for these, get my mozas powder-coated or go for some Antera wheels I've seen...
Did they go on the same tyres?
-
Yes they went on the same tyres mate.
Now im just waiting for the r32 front brakes to arrive so i cant paint the calipers red and fit them .
-
very very nice

I do like the TD pro race alloys a lot. Lightweight and good looking = can't go wrong

I know your on a service plan Hurdy, but I'm suprised you've resisted the alloys
-
Very nice Luca  And the mirror's are a class touch!!
Any plans to drop it a little??
-
Overall, a fine looking job with very nice and light looking wheels. How do they feel on the road?

Me too

About time eh mate..
Looks like TD have a problem with getting these made to order in the stated delivery time, as mine were 2 weeks late. But soooo worth it..
If you guys think they look nice in the pics, you will love them in the flesh, as they never seem to come out as well on the pics (mine don't anyway ). Need to get some new pics taken with decent camera me thinks..
Oh and not that I would copy you , but how much were the mirror caps out of interest..?
-
I phoned vw parts and they wanted £120. But i havea mte who works for vw who can get unsprayed caps for £40 then their spray shop can spray them for you for £40. So £80 all in using vw metallic black paint, they did a very nice job on them.
-
Very nice Luca  And the mirror's are a class touch!!
Any plans to drop it a little??
No plans as yet mate. Im hopefully buying an audi s2 coupe and tuning it up to around 400bhp. So all funds will be concentrated on that now

Not a big fan of red but this works really well, I like :D
How much were the wing mirror covers? one has had some paint taken of by a bus and the other someone pulled into my lane and clipped his wing mirror so thats damaged too.
-
Paid £80 for mine through a mate who works for vw parts. They should be around £120
-
I'm assuming that's for the pair fella???
-
Like the mirror covers but not a fan of dark colour alloys, they always look like there dirty & covered in brake dust to me.
-
to luca.............. just noticed.. ref Picture 3
get on and sort them rusty bells behind those new shiny wheels!, your eyes get drawn straight to the Rust!!. Cheap job mate or warranty
claim at your local stealers
-
Now that I see them on a Golf I'm seriously interested in getting a set.
Are those Mat Black? I've seen a set of gloss black on an Evo' and they looked too shiny - those look less so and more to my liking.
-
The wheels are gloss but id just been for a little blast so they had a little brake dust on them.
Phil i will speak to vw today and get the rusty bells sorted, i hate them .
Ben the price was for the pair mate
-
Will you be selling your pescaras?
-
No sorry mate. Will put them back on the car when i come to sell it.
-
Pics don't do those wheels justice, like Ben says they are (http://www.smileys.me.uk/smileys/Cool/cool0003.gif) (http://www.smileys.me.uk/)(http://www.smileys.me.uk/smileys/Cool/cool0003.gif) (http://www.smileys.me.uk/)(http://www.smileys.me.uk/smileys/Cool/cool0003.gif) (http://www.smileys.me.uk/) in the flesh..
