Hey,
My temperature on the MAF is going a bit loopy. Basically if I have no other electrics on itl sit at 100-102 no problem, but if Im driving at night with lights on, and turn the fans on to clear the widscreen itl jump to 112-116, then as soon as I turn the fan off itl drop to 106.
Help!?!?!
Also its not starting when its warm, try and start, makes a noise like a low battery, then give it 30 mins and itl start no problem?! WTF!!
Also!! Im getting a bit of a whirring noise from under the bonnet, think its the power steering pump, but sounds like it might be the alternator bearings. PAS Pump does need topping up fairly frequently.
Answers to all the above much appreciated, anyone who wants to come help me do it and be plyd with beer food and some money for the trouble, even MORE appreciated!!
Thanks

Could it be that your engine is overheating?
-
No.
Normal engine operating temperature.
-
check the braided earth wire from cylinder head to one of the coil bracket mounting bolts :)
-
I was hoping you would pop up!
Ill check on it and report back.
-
I read on another post that MFA problems could be related to the "voltage stabilizer"

Hi, checked the earth wire, took it off the block and wire brushed the whole area, seems to be ok. Theres a wire at the bottom of the block at the front, oil temperature sensor? That the insulation has fallen off, so wrapped in it electrical tape so it couldnt earth on anything.
Neither things seemto have made a difference.
Any other ideas?
thanks
