i was ETA-ede that my golf will be produced in the 40th week of 2008
and I wonder if anybody knows will it be a TSI or TFSI engine ,a friend is selling stuff from his ED30 ,will get cheap parts,so need to know
i know USA gets TSI engines now, what about EU ???
thanks

Isn't TSI just a new name for the TFSI engine? I didn't think there was actually any difference?
-
The updated engine (as seen in the US cars) was the replacement for the normal GTI (200bhp/K03 turbo version) I think, I havent heard anything about the 230bhp/K04 as used in the ED30/Pirelli being changed/updated to the later version.

They're still making ED30's in Croatia? Can you get the Pirelli Edition there too?
oh and.. 4-1
-
I thought the latest revisions changed from cambelt to camchain and the fuel pump has a roller to drive it rather than the bucket set-up which has been known to give problems
-
I initially understood that the latest chain engines were only going in the <cough> Mk6 <cough> (which is more like a Mk5.5).
However, the latest Rocco has the chain engine. What PS is that rated too?
-
'rocco is the 200ps unit
