always amazes me the difference between the two intakes!!
-
amazes me what a git it was hahaha cant wait to feel the differnece and hopefully hear it and then the 007P should come on friday so should be running sweet for now, then its a case of either sorting out the exhaust next or the brakes and remapp?
And for anyone that hasnt seen the DSG intake here it is along side the standard one

Is that something just for you 'T' boys, or will it help us with a 2.slow?

fits all MKIV's apart from the 1.6 :afro:

So this just allows more air to get into the airbox?
-
yeah lets loads more air in  that and the smoothed airbox with the pipercross panel filter makes it more responsive. and now iv sorted that out you can really hear the turbo spoil when you bury your right foot and the standard DV got a bit more voice to it, cant wait to get the 007P on there tomorrow and hear the sound.
the airbox does need playing with got to cut a bigger hole to fit the pipe wansnt to bad to do, I found it a bit tricky getting the air box in the right place after as it was a snug fit, but havent got any pics

£40 was a bargin  one of the best cheap mods ive done! you can hear the diffence and when you bury your foot it really helps it take off lol

I might have to invest in one
