on my 1993 vr6 it crunchs goin from first in2 second and from thrid in 2 second gears what cus b the problem

Most likely be the common 2nd gear syncromesh wear usually worse when cold.change your gear oil for fully-synthetic this can help a little otherwise just change up at low revs makes it less noticeable...
