Title: Brake Lines
Post by: rhysm5 on 10 September 2008, 20:52
Need a bit of help on brake line sets. I have seen conflicting reports of which brake line set i need for my '96 8v GTI, discs all round. Is the the 4-line set or the 6-line set??

Also any one any experience on which set is best or easiest to fit?

Cheers for any help.

Rhys

Im not sure if it depends if its ABS or not but mine is four lines NON ABS.    but why dont you get your self a flaring kit and some unions then use copper pipe and do it your self... belive me its a hell of alot easier than fitting pre made steel pipes.   its bad enough without it already being made to shape

I thought all golfs with rear disc brakes have 6 flexible hoses, golfs with brake drums have 4.
