Title: Doors - help needed

Hi,
I have a late mark 2 gti with big bumpers and the thinner side trim.  However, i need a new door because of rust - my question is will a door from earlier gti with the wider trim still fit and take the thinner trim?

just make sure the mirror is in the right place, also some colours were only available post 90
