Title: what's this?

Looks like a cap is missing, it's on the gearbox and might be where u access the flywheel??

Anyone any ideas??

Post by: Khare on 10 September 2008, 19:24: thats the flywheel window. There should be a green/white cap tehre covering it up. If i was you i'd source one fast, as any stones or dirt that get in there could mean the end of your flywheel.

no way it'll damage the flywheel, its a big f**k off lump o metal! however the gearbox casing on the other hand is only aluminium, anything getting caught betweeen the box n fly will machine away the bellhousing. that being said mine has been missing for 3 years, i bugger about with the timing so often I never bother to fit it.
