Helped my mate take out the 8v digi and drop in an Audi 2ltr with K-jet injection. 1990 spec mk2. I promised him i would do the wiring as the car the 2ltr came out of was an 88 model! I AM HAVING A RIGHT MARE!!! Could anybody tell me what number the fuel pump relay is? Also, there's a thin red and black wire coming off the coil, which goes nowhere! I looked it up in the manual, and it says it goes to the accelerator module or something??? Any ideas please???

check out my fusebox faq! you'll need a k-jet relay i think, any idea what type of k-jet the audi motor was running? also is it 8v or 16v?
red/black off coil is rev counter feed.

I did a conversion like this, pb to 9a, I changed to kjet and had a early 16v loom which wont go into the fuse box, idealy if you get a 90 spec 16v wiring loom from a mk2 its plug and play (you need the kr ecu also). I havent managed to get the 90 spec loom yet so I used my digi loom and removed what I didnt need and spliced in what I needed from the 16v loom.

1982.rpd, this sounds similar to my task! The 88 car it came out of was orig. an 8v k-jet. The loom i'm 'adapting', is the 90 spec digi. At the moment, all I'm getting, is the temp led flashes for a few seconds, but the battery light is very dim! Even the fuel pump isn't priming! Had another mess with it today, but got nowhere! I know this is vague, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE!!! Right, Got 95% of the fusebox wires tied up. The car now gets ignition lights and cranks over!!! But....the fuel pump doesn't prime! I connected a standard size red with yellow tracer wire up to a thicker red with yellow tracer on the brake light switch to see what happened. The fuel pump primes constantly! So I traced a red and yellow wire off the fuel pump up to the fuse box. I temporarily scotched the thin r+y wire to that, but nothing! Any ideas??

The fuel pump will sound like its priming all the time on kjet as the injection system needs constant pressure.

So I assume its a 16v running k-jet with an ecu & lambda? if so you need to find the red/yel trigger wire from the ecu and splice this into the red/yel trigger wire to the rear of the fusebox. check mky fusebox faq, its in there somewhere.
Oh and have you swapped a k-jet fuel pump & lines in there the digifant one wont run it.

I pm'd him regarding your fusebox faq Jonny. You are the master

Cheers for the PM 1982! I'll have a butcher's at the wiring guides tomorrow some time. My mate is removing the K-Jet pump as the sacrificed donor is going to the big VW scrapyard in the sky on Monday! Update soon! Thanks again guys!
