im the proud new owner of my first Golf!
i picked me up a Zender Concept mk4 1.8t manual and im damm happy!
unfortunatly for a 1.8 turbo manual i think its lacking a little in the acceleration department.
its the 150hp (110kW) engine.
so fellow GTi owers, i need advice on the best way to get some good horsepower gains from the engine. ive looked at an aftermarket ECU, which costs about $1850 (new zealand dollars) which seems a little costy, then agin i can get the ECU sent to australia to Oettinger and they will tune it for allmost $3000! both are looking at about a 40hp gain. i have looked at exhausts, air intakes, front mount intercoolers etc etc.
if there is someone out there that has one, that can give me good advice on how to get her purrin like a tiger ill be a even happier man!
cheers guys!
p.s i want to aim for around 230hp
