Title: oil for golf gti turbo ?

Tho went into my dealers and the took my reg and said i need to use castrol magntec 10/40 :shocked:

i'd go for a thicker oil to give you better engine protection; you may find with that 'sport stuff' you'll be topping up the oil regularly

I wouldnt risk damaging my engine after people have said they dont recommend using it :rolleyes:

it could well be ok but AFAIK its not VW spec oil

lol - but does it mention anything about what VW spec it matches, if any? :undecided:

Its all well and good them saying for the ultimate protection but personally I would rather listen to what the manufacturers and expects reccomend. :huh:
