Title: poor runing 16 valve

started this morning drove to work stoped to get morning paper
drove of car started to jerk realy badly revs going up and down
wouldnt pull thru the rev range got to work in the end
same thing happend a gain on the way home  :sad:
got a new crank sensor to fit tomrow as that was shown up as
fault on vag com as well as the temp sender on the block wich ive changed
aswell anyone got any other ideas what it could be  cheers

Your crank sensor may well fix that problem.......

well got the crank sensor off today what a pig of a job
only to find the euro car parts one nowt like the vw one different connection
doesnt even fit in the hole propely to say im pi""ed off is a understatment
got no car now till its sorted the crank sensor wireing was well goosed so  ide say that
was my problem i hope anyway

i had the same problem, changed the crank sensor and all is good. one of the worst jobs iv had to do, tried doing it without taking the front engine mount off but failed lol good luck!

sorted  now the crank sensor was the problem
car runs like a good one now  :grin:
