My cars been on the Autotrader web site for a couple of days at £3350.
Had a couple of people show an interest, but the first bloke wants it for £3k....so said no thanks.
2nd bloke says i'll pay £3200 cash. I said okay - but I said i'm not getting a service carried out (which I would get done if they paid £3350) He say's £3200 with service or not interested....
I've been looking around, and I dont think i'm taking the mick for £3350?? :undecided:

got £4400 for a 03 bora 1.8t, with 50k miles, leather, fsh. just hang on, i had to drop the price a bit, but if someone wants it they will buy it. what miles has it got? even vw's arent really worth sh!t anymore.

It's just done the Century!... Still drives really well though and not a scratch on it.

I would hav snapped your arm off a few months ago. Seems though prices dropped!
-
Prices have dropped a lot recently
£3350 is about right IMO tho

I wouldnt sell for any less than 3200, and at that id only really want to accept that for a quick sale if i needed rid of it quickly. Had a few folk with daft offers for my old saxo, but still got the price i had it advertised at really quickly

i just paid £3000 for a 2001 1.8T, 70k, fsh, 1 prev owner, original paint etc. It's a very grim market if selling

The car market has totally gone down hill with the economic downturn. I set adverts in the paper each week and have really seen what's happening. Most garages aren't selling much at all and those that do are always dropping prices by a lot just to sell them.

depending on mileage and all that id give u probs £3350 for it!! :afro:
-
Its defo a buyers market at the moment.
My V5 booked at £4700 and i had to sell it for £3200 in the end :embarassed:
