Well would you buy a new car in the current economic climate?
More debt/reduced savings - ooooooooh, no thanks!
-
No, In fact I would never buy a new car at all unless I won the lottery (More than £10 anyway!). It doesn't make financial sense to me at all. But then you guys all know me and that the Rado was above and beyond my normal car budget!
Still less new car's being sold means less used ones in a few years time.

Don't go holding your breath waiting for the supply to dry up.
By my reckoning if this decline goes on, on the basis of your car purchases in the past year or so you'll be starting to need to worry in about 15-20 years from now.

This is true but I'll be in my late 40's by then and in the market for a sensible car and there might be a drought of them by then.
Saying that in 15-20 years we'll all be flying round in hover cars that run on the tears of kittens won't we?

last month Astn Matin leeds sold 5 cars in total, not sure what they usually sell a month so i dont know if thats a good figure or bad, but the point i wanna make is they lost a total of 30k with these sales, this is how bad sales are right now.....they just cant shift them..
