I have been thinking of silicon hoses and painting/polishing the rocker cover or the plastic engine cover. Still need to go VW and get a battery cover.

I was looking at that the other day but got confused as to which ones I needed :S

Not sure about colour either may just go for black to tie in with the car.

See I don't want blue as it's common, not sure on red so that really only leaves black. So I'm thinking is there much point?

Thanks for the email address though!

myself i would have preffered a darker blue but bought mine 2nd hand so can't really complain

you'll find that most of the pipes have been re-designed to improve airflow as well as being stronger under higher boost levels  :nerd:

deffo d the vacuum tubing as this tends to split and crack over time leading to performance losses which are almost impossible to track down!

what pipes are the vacuum tubing? I'll have to price up some black hoses then. But I had other mods on my mind!

I gave this a blast to work and back this evening and didn't really think i would improve the feel of the car much.

How wrong was I?

The car pulls a lot stronger and the turbo seems to spool up a lot quicker and has removed some of the lag especially when your foot is on the floor in 2nd gear. For £46 I'm VERY impressed! and would recommend this to anyone with the 1.8T engine.
