Title: Speaker improvements
Post by: Altered Carbon on 04 September 2008, 00:30
Anyone have a recommendations for replacement speaker set up for the Golf? Looking at a new HU at the moment, so was intending to replace the standard speakers with something a bit more 'capable'. I've got the standard set up which I think means tweeters and mids in the bottom part of the door. I noticed there appears to be space for another set of speakers midway between the two but it looks empty at the moment?

Any comments/suggestions? FWIW I was probably looking at Alpine or Infinity as I've had these before and was happy with them. I'm also intending to use some existing ICE stuff - 2 channel amp bridged to run my 12" RF sub in a fairly substantial bandpass box in the boot.

Thanks!

Hi AC,

Here is a link to my project thread.

It tells you what I did with mine and at the bottom of page 1 and onto page 2 it shows you my boot build.
