Hello from up in Yorkshire.

I'm about to move to Holland with work and will be needing a car there, so due to their tax rules, high 2nd hand car prices and import tax I've decideding to sell my Subaru Legacy GT-B (280bhp, 4x4, twin turbo and Bilstein suspension) and plan on buy a Mk3 Golf out there, so look out for the questions later. Been reading through this forum and looks pretty useful.

hello mate i'm a yorkshire man now living in holland :) , where about's are you coming too ?? i live about 10 min's from Assen in the north

you will love it ere and if you need any help with the minefield of paper work just holla :)

I'll be moving to Haarlem for the first 18 months ish then down to Rotterdam for a further 18 months ish. Cheers for the offer on paperwork, should all be ok as I've a relocation agent & HR department to help me, but if I need any automotive advice I'll let you know.

BTW do you know of any track day organisers at Assen, both Bike and Car?

Currently an SV650s which is in the process of being sold (too slow at the 'Ring and Spa on the straights and uphills ;) )

Will be buying a K6/7 Suzuki GSXR750 when I get over to Holland for trackdays and high speed touring ;)
