Thees 4 little tabs at the bottom holding the barrel in, just try loosening them one by one and it slides out, when you have freed it slide it out slowly so that the metal tumblers dont drop out, hten push it in to your new handle mate

I've just got a new handle & swapped over the barrel. When I replace the mechanism, the lock doesnt seem to be catching it to lock the glovebox lid. Am I missing something?!

Best regards,

Mick

Does it line up?

Just a thought but if the catch doesnt clip into its location, does the barrel have to be lined up in a certain way to work with the handle?

Seems to line up fine, looks as though the lug on the end of the barrel isnt long enough to move the mechanism over to hold the catch in place?
