OK, i've tried the search, but to no avail.
Can someone post images of the different types of footrest which Gulfstream11 supplies?
Obviously just the standard GTI, but there was one with fixing holes and one without - and am just unsure which one to go for? I think that the previous threads had the images deleted, because someone downunder was ripping off Gulfs work - so if you just wanna post them for a day (so 'err indoors can look), and then delete them later, that would be fine.
Thanks

OK, thanks chaps.
So is there any issues with either regarding fitting, or catching your foot on the screws?

No issues with mine. Gulf supplies the screws along with the chamfered washers and proper lock nuts. Fitting was a ten minute job and I've never caught my foot on the screws etc

Great quality, perfect fitting on both the footrest and the seat inserts. Can't go wrong IMO.
Also looks great with the red behind like Phil (and subsequently I) have done.
-
i used small rivets to hold mine on ! remember to put some small washers on the back to stop the rivet pulling through the plastic !! looks great imo

Phil mate, how did you stick yours on? I got mine almost two weeks ago but haven't manage to fit it (car was in bodyshop for a week).
Did you remove the footrest?
I'm starting to think one with holes would have been quicker and easier to fit.

hi mate the foot rest is only held in by 1 screw and one of them plastic clip things vw use , i think my rivet idea looks great cause the heads are disreat and alloy so they wont rust!

I used the outdoor type stickie pads on mine and took about 30 seconds to put in and I didn't need to take the plastic foot rest out.
I Just gave the plastic a clean with an alcohol wipe first to clean/degrease it, it's now been in for several weeks with no problems at all.

Gulf's footrest on ebay is £25 plus £2 for p&p.

....Cheers, bacillus. And I expect OSIR's costs a lot more but it does look more oem - I'm not knocking Gulf's product!

....If it's not already in stock in the UK it always takes ages to get from overseas.
Typical example if you order direct from overseas:
Day 1 - Parcel collected from manufacturer.
Day 2 - Leaves origin country.
Day 3 - Arrives at Heathrow.
Day 8 - Eventually arrives at International Hub awaiting Customs charges.
Day 10 - En route to delivery depot (ParcelForce).
Day 11 - Sorted in National Hub.
Day 12 - Arrives at delivery depot.
Day 13 - Snailmail letter sent to recipient notifying arrival and demanding payment of charges. There are extra charges if you want it delivered to your door or you can collect from the depot.
Day 17 - Snailmail notification recieved.
Day 18 - Have it sent or you collect - No goods without full payment of all charges, roughly 20-25% of your original purchase price.
In the case of OSIR products via TTSroadsport (sole Euro resellers), they usually try their best to include your individual order on one of their regular ones, which saves them and so you some extra import costs due to being separate.

....Oh dear! I thought that all my mods looked oem. I better start modding all over again
What I mean is that the OSIR footrest looks more as if it was oem.
