Title: rattles on rear corner when turning left?

On left hand cornering I get a knocking rattle noise from the nearside rear, I assume it could be my top mount needs replacing but not having much to do with Golfs before thought I'd ask!?

any pointer please.

exhaust against heatsheild? check the exhaust mounts and the heat shield as these rattle loose after a few years
