After some advice on callipers/pads i want to upgrade the brakes on my mk4 any suggestions on what callipers to go for and what pads?

Plenty of choice mate could always stick on a pair of Porsche discs and calipers. Thats what im gonna be doing. :smiley:

Porche brakes are a bit overkill for a road-going Golf, IMO.
The most effective/easiest/cost effective way is the 312mm upgrade. (Plenty of info already on here if you search "312") :wink:

probably done nothing about it since getting the parts! normally several months AFTER we tell him about the upgrade before he does anything.
i expect he'll have them fitted by Easter 2010 :laugh: :laugh:

I've got all the parts at home, getting fitted next week when I'm not on holiday. 312mm w00t!! :drool:
