Title: Clutch Problems - URGENT
Post by: K16-MYK on 30 August 2008, 16:19
Earlier today i went to press the clutch pedal, and itr went down, but too far! The little clip at the bottom of the control arm that cradles the cable, had snapped. Managed to get car home no bother. Got the clip fitted ok. Now there is no drive in the gears. Is there a way to adjust the cable? Any help want Urgently, cheers.

it take it the clutch is not engaging?  should be an auto adjuster on yours?  in which case these tend to lock up. the only thing you can do is replace it.

its a common fault for pieces to fall off the clutch peadal ir arm....and it does kill the cable!! as said you'll need a new one
