congratz mate, i passed 6 months ago and i still remember the day! spent it all driving about for no reason
take it easy for the first few days though, cos from the energy and need for speed i had i had a few close encounters. So just relax, and remember, your learn more in your first year than in the rest of your lifetime!

Congratulations bud, enjoy!

yeah, these first few days is what decides your driving habits for your whole driving career!
me, i got the habit of one hand on wheel, one hand on gears, i never use two hands on wheel!
Driving since nov 07, so almost a year! it is funny to look back and see how much driving styles change for driving with an instructor to driving by yourself.
