Well as this is my first VW i was looking forward to seeing how the service from dealerships lived up to the reputation of the cars. When i first went to look at a car i was going to buy things diddnt get off to a great start (long story but lets just say i wasnt impressed with the service from VW Redditch)
Anyways. Booked my car in for the 40K service (VW Leicester) on Tuesday for today, very helpfull on the phone and got me in nice and quick. Dropped the car off last night after receiving 2 text messages confirming all the detais on the service. Whilst i was there i asked if anyone was about that could look at my Monza's as they were corroding. Less than a minute later i have the warranty guy sorting me out a full set of replacement wheels and caps!!!!!!!!!
I am so chuffed, i showed him the 'white worm' and he agreed straight away and appologised for the problem and also appologised that he would not be able to get the wheels changed during the service as they did not have any in stock, would i mind waiting a few days!!
Realy excellent service so far. I do not think that i would call them stealers again!!
Cant wait to pick her up later (used the wife;s KA to get to work ) i will be interested to see if i get he back cleaned aswell............

I always ask them NOT to clean my car as I don't want the extra free swirls on my paintwork.

naa just cr@ppy sponges that 98% of people use to wash there car from halfords

Sponges should be outlawed from all garages, car washes and places like halfrauds. They should also come with a warning not to be used or near cars!
Microfibre FTW!

do you get the feeling that i should have asked them NOT to clean my car then!! Picture the scene, walking upto the car looking nics and clean  get close and see.......... well lets not judge them just yet A!

when my car was being serviced i got a call to say it was finished, so i got a lift down and whilst pulling into the forcourt some spotty 16yo was cleaning it on his work experience!!  jumped out of the car and told him (firmly) to STOP!!

Yeah, a 16 year old who has cleaned 12 cars that day with grit in his bucket and keeps dropping the sponge on the floor cos he's still not got his co-ordination right!!

Wheel man i admire your faith in mankind you obviously see the glass as half full when judging thing's.
me personally: i would be in church confessing all my sin's and praying constantly until the car was safely back home.
Its nice to read a positive thread about car dealer.
PS this was the scene at my last service.
