Are power boost valve worth the £89.99?
Usually i'd stay away from anything with the words, power and boost in the same sentence as its sounds like something you add to a childs remote toy but the add on FSE power boost valves sounds slightly attractive. Would it be a good idea on a 2.0 8V gti.
Cheers

Hi i am selling one on ebay now,Its on a gti im breaking. The power gain is not that noticable to be honest, but it may make throttle response better. and to be honest anything that make an 8v quicker is a good thing lol

waste of time......
your car will control fuel by various engine sensors and anything the boost valve does will be quickly over ridden by the ecu making any gains un-noticable!
-
the only people that buy them are people with alot more money than sense

I put one on my 16v for about 2 hours, then it went promptly back on ebay, waste of money.

Thats why mines on ebay lol

Only good if you have the extra mods to go with it... it just raises the fuel pressure... friend of mine had one on his punto gt, but that was because it was pushing out over 200 brake

They are handy things if you have big mods. a good way of getting the pressure up safely but usless on its own. throttle responce would be slightly higher but as said before the engine compensates as much as it can to keep it running how its supposed to. So dont bother.
