Title: Cant get into gear....
Post by: Rmachines on 26 August 2008, 19:36
Was fine but the clutch bite was very low and it crunched into gears, now its not going into gears at all!  Its hydraulic clutch i know that much.  Basicly the clutch needs to be adjusted so its further up the peddle.

What could cause this?  As its hydro clutch i presume its not adjustable at all so its going to be either bludging pipes or in need of a fluid change/bleed?

I have checked the box out and the linkages and its all fine.  engages perfect with the engine off so deffo a clutch issuse.  Wink

Any ideas? cheers.

if its hydraulic clutch see if its seperate to the braking resovoir. if it is try bleeding it. there will be a bleed nipple on the slave cylinder attached to the gearbox. if this dont work its cabbaged
