Looks sort of like a Saxo with those lights somehow. Shame, because the rest of the car is good.

OMG is that a tow bar in the middle of the bumper?!

Come on Kells, in the right situation, from the front, that could look alright. I shouldn't say that without seeing the front first though. :lipsrsealed:

lol nah, that's me mams back window & that would be a towbar as there's nothing on her rear window.

I take it it doesn't belong on this forum then? Was taken a little bit ago, but i'm sure it had a stamp on the car that had this URL (golfgti.co.uk) on it.

I just don't think it would be polite to say what I really think of it as it's a forum member's car. :embarassed:

It could have been owned by someone on here who then sold it to someone who added too many bits.
Mind you, not everyone on here has the same tastes anyway.

It has been 90-spec'd. A D-plate should have front doors with quarter lights, small bumpers and a black spoiler. Notice how they're missing part of the black rubbing strip on the front wing.
So long as they've not ruined the front end, it would be simple to get it looking decent again. Get rid of the lights, and if those are BBS wheels, just paint them silver for a better look.
