Title: which wheel spacer kit to go for ?
Post by: remapped on 25 August 2008, 16:27: Are any of the following kits good ? would 20mm be to much on rears ?

made my mind up to keep the oem wheels but dam the need rears to be moved out !!

Post by: boneybradley on 25 August 2008, 16:32: heres mine (in sig picture) with 15-16mm rear spacers and it does sometimes rub a little!! and thats with narrow 195's! when i had 205's fitted I couldnt carry anyone in the back for long!!

I'm on early mk3 gti alloys and I wanna keep them and the cr has been lowered on a H+R kit (40mm) so the rears need to get spaced but I'd like to move out the fronts a bit too

Post by: boneybradley on 26 August 2008, 09:07: my fronts are 3mm (all though not hub centric and with standard bolts!! :shocked:) but with them being so slim there barely noticable to the untrained eye... I do want some proper 10mm ones tho

With your 15/16 mm rears, is it rubbing on the arch lip, perhaps some amateur rolling might help!!

Get some photos posted of your wheels, would be really interested to see what they look like with the spacers.
