Of course you can, its just a matter of the time and money needed to carry out the conversion your talking about  :smiley:

I think it's slightly easier if you're starting with a GTI, but if you're stripping the 1.3 Mk2 right down anyway, you can replace everything as you go, because you'll need to upgrade brakes, suspension, gearbox, drive shafts, engine mounts, fuel pump and more.
