Title: MK3 peddle box.
Post by: Rmachines on 24 August 2008, 11:58
Right, im always told when converting to Hydralic clutch i need to change the peddle box, but looking at it... everything is there for me to bolt the clutch master in place and attach the diffrent clutch peddle and spring.   Am i right in thinking i can do this?

Thing is.. its a pain in the ass to take the damn thing out,  so if i can keep the 1.4 box and adapt it, it would make it a whole lot easier for me!!!

looking at my parts cat it shows there is only 1 type of pedal box....and the hydraulic one just uses extra bolt on mounts for the slave cylinder etc

Yep!  your right,  i have just swaped the peddle and added the spring, then bolted in the master.

I was thinking of a MK2 when i was thinking the whole thing needed changing.   Going good so far
