Title: picking up today

hi every one after my engine im my mk3 8v died on 179000 i was looking for a new engine and found a black mk3  8v done 102000 has cutting out prob/drive side winwow not working and needs 2 tyres but i still have my other golf u lot think its worth 450

if the body is ok and the sills are good seems ok lots of cheap ones on ebay at the moment  :laugh:

right just got home with car drove 20 miles no cutting out yet i have fixed the driver side window took 5mins only rust i can find is on the top of the sill where the door goes nothing to bad tho

Sill rust will kill it if you dnt sort it ASAP.

As for the cutting out, there are loads of threads about this if you search, im sure you can find the answer easy mate.

i will be treating it very soon has a little bit on the wing i will cahnge that still got my other golf your telling me it was a bargen i had to look twice only has a short mot but i dont see any reason it wont pass i would post pic's but dont know how to do it

To save trouble in the long run clean the throttle housing to prevent the cutting out issue. I cannot stress how easy it is and how much headache it will save ya.
