ive seen a few vr6's around with the side mouldings just like the gti and ive also seen a few around with no side mouldings,im just wondering why this is,whats the difference?cheers.

It's all down to the age.
Both my 96' VR's have had no arches and body coloured side trims.

think i prefer em with the trim! just looks sportier.

mine had none, looked more modern in my eyes! like both though, depends on what colour they are i guess! later ones have better lumps too! odb2 for the win :wink:

yeah for 95 the VR6 with arches and non coloured trims was an option (and very few were built) and then later scrapped the option all together!

i prefere my vr6 to my gti with the side trims look so much better being colour coded.

I took all the trim off my GTI, I think they look cleaner without.
